Function: World Studies, Language lab The Roderick Gander Center for World Studies is dedicated to promoting international opportunities on campus, including the World Studies Program, study abroad and foreign languages. It is named in memory of former Marlboro president Rod Gander, who helped spearhead the World Studies Program. The space includes offices, classrooms, comfortable study and meeting spaces and a language lab. In the past, such classical music greats as Rudolf Serkin, Pablo Casals and Yo-Yo Ma have taught and played in this building, as part of the college music program and the summer Marlboro Music School and Festival. |
