Marlboro College

Academics Alex Bobella

Sophomore 1

Academic Interests. Mythology, Literature, History, and Dance. I’ve been interested in all but dance for my entire life, and I couldn’t help but be enamored with movement when I took Beginning Modern first semester. I, unfortunately, don’t know quite what my Plan might be about yet – I’ve lots of ideas floating around – but I hope to include a dance performance.

Favorite Marlboro Classes. “What Will Suffice” with John Sheehy and Ballet with Mucuy Bolles (a visiting instructor from Brattleboro.)

Favorite Thing about Marlboro. Marlboro felt and feels like home.

Favorite Places at Marlboro. The Dance Studio and the Stone Circle.

Community Involvement. I was involved with Social Committee and will be the Town Crier next year. I also worked for a short time for the Phonathon, and will be finding some job or another for the coming year.

Advice. Learn a great deal, and make a lot of friends.

Summer Plans. This summer I’m being lazy and taking Ballet classes.
