We have arranged opportunities for you to get to know current students, faculty and staff in a variety of settings. Come join us! Please register below.

Itinerary:

9:30 a.m. Registration (Serkin Center lobby)
Check in and review the agenda for the day.

10:00 - 10:30 a.m. A Beautiful Plan: Academics at Marlboro (Serkin Center lobby)
You may have heard Marlboro's academic structure described as "unique," "self-directed" and "student-centered," but what does that look like in practice? Dean of Faculty Richard Glejzer will provide an academic overview explaining our first two years, Clear Writing Requirement, tutorials, and The Plan.

10:30 -11:15 a.m. Pick Your Path: Break-out Sessions (Various Locations)

11:30 a.m. -12:50 p.m. Exploring Marlboro - Campus Tour or Class Visit (Depart from Serkin)
Join current students on a walking tour of campus or attend a class. Learn more about the history of the college, its unique academic curriculum and activities that take place within the community, or attend a class to observe the student-faculty relationship that is the cornerstone of a Marlboro education.

12:50 - 1:30 p.m. Lunch (Dining Hall)
Take a break and join current students, professors and members of the staff as we gather for a meal.

1:30 - 3:30 p.m. Exploring Marlboro - Campus Tour or Class Visits (Various Classrooms)
Join our current students on a walking tour of campus or attend a class. Learn more about the history of the college, its unique academic curriculum and activities that take place within the community, or attend a class to observe the student-faculty relationship that is the cornerstone of a Marlboro education.

1:45 - 3:00 pm Family Dessert Reception (Campus Center)
Family members are invited to hear more about Marlboro during an informal reception with faculty, staff, and students.

Bring Boots!

Please keep in mind that February in Vermont typically means cold temperatures. So dress warmly and have footwear that allows you to walk in snowy conditions. We look forward to seeing you!winter3

Skiers and Snowboarders

Marlboro College is less than 30 minutes from Mount Snow, one of Vermont's largest alpine resorts. Contact Mount Snow Central Reservations at 800-498-0479 for discounts on lodging and lift ticket packages at participating hotels, motels, condos and inns.

Other stuff to do in the area

The town of Brattleboro, just 15 minutes east of campus, will be in the midst of its 56th Annual Winter Carnival, which will have lots of fun activities and events.
