News Literary Festival Adult Workshop Registration

Marlboro College, in collaboration with the Brattleboro Literary Festival, will be offering intermediate-advanced  workshops in writing poetry, fiction and memoir. New registrations will be accepted through Sunday, September 30, 2012 on a space-available basis.

 

Registration Process

Step One)  For the fiction workshop submit a double spaced five (5) page writing sample through submittable. For the memoir workshop, submit the first ten (10) pages of a memoir through submittable. For the poetry workshop please submit a writing sample of two (2) poems amounting to no more than a total four (4) pages in length through submittable. These pieces will be workshopped by the group.

Step Two) Your submission will be reviewed by a member of the Marlboro College faculty or the Brattleboro Literary Festival organizing committee to ensure that you are writing at an intermediate-advanced level. Within two weeks of sumission, you will receive an email notifying you of your acceptance.

Step Three) Once accepted, you must pay the $75 registration fee. Payment instructions will be sent with your acceptance notice. Workshop spaces will be confirmed on a first-come, first-serve basis for accepted students according to time of payment submitted.

Step Four) Arrive in Brattleboro, Vermont for your scheduled workshop on Friday, October 12th!
