MARLBORO, VT - Lyn Roberts-Herrick will give a presentation
on "Shamans, Ecstasy, and Change: An Introduction to the Shaman
Journeying Process," from 6:30 to 8: 30 p.m. Tuesday, February
15, in Dalrymple Hall at Marlboro College.
Roberts-Herrick studied cross-cultural and world issues at the School
for International Training in Brattleboro, and earned a master's
degree in Tibetan Buddhist and Western psychology from Naropa University
in Colorado.
She works with the Dream Change Coalition (DCC), a grassroots movement
of people from many continents and cultures who are dedicated to
creating new values and ways of living. Roberts-Herrick is the editor
of Dream Change magazine and the national coordinator of DCC's South
American shamans' visits to the USA.
"We live in a provocative, evolving time that promises to impact
how we continue as a species, how we live together on the planet,
and how we understand ourselves in relation to a larger universe,"
says Roberts-Herrick, a Kagyu Buddhist seminarian. She is also an
independent Reiki master-teacher and an intuitive healer who has
an extensive background in body-mind and energetic therapies.
