MARLBORO, VT - "The Bread Series" and "Immigration Installation"by visiting artist Apo Torosyan are currently on exhibit at Marlboro College's Drury Gallery through October 26.
Using canvass, wire mesh, earth, bread, and other found objects, Turkish-born Torosyan has created three-dimensional wall sculptures that explore the interplay between texture and symbol.
In his work, Torosyan explores "universal themes of oppression, displacement and immigration" as well as issues of aesthetic form.
