MARLBORO, VT - Under the direction of visiting Professor of Theater Deborah Fortson, Marlboro College students will perform "Mouthful of Birds" at 8 p.m. November 9 and 10 in Whittemore Theater. An open dress rehearsal will take place at 8 p.m. November 8.

Written by Carol Churchill and David Lan, the play is described as a riotous romp about obsession, possession, spirits, intrigue, gender bending, and pig love, with music, dances, and bacchanalian rites.

The cast includes seniors Heather Carter and T.J. Hellmuth, junior Morgan Eckert, sophomores Priya Campbell, Alex Lehman, and Heather Turner, and freshmen Morgan Rhodewalt and Aliana Hammond. Accompanying them on violin will be senior Katie Swisher. These dedicated thespians have been practicing for four hours a night, four nights a week, since the end of September.
