MARLBORO, VERMONT Now is the last chance for prospective students to enroll in the new Persons School bachelor degree completion program.
The Persons School of Marlboro College recently announced a first ever bachelors degree completion program to begin in September.
The degree, according to Admissions Director Margaret J. Donahue, will be in Managing Information Systems (MIS), which will combine technology and business to produce problem solvers in the world of technology.
According to Donahue, graduates who come out of the program with a MIS degree will have the potential to cut across a broad range of professional job opportunities. Some graduates will be able to apply their skills to fields they are already working in while others could go on to help businesses to develop online strategies either as employees or consultants.
The degree program, which is offered wholly online to students who have either an associates degree or 60 college credits, is available to students throughout the country.
And for local students, they will have the additional benefit of the Persons School facility and equipment at their disposal as part of the program, according to Donahue.
The cost for the program is $300 per credit hour. It can be completed
over two years or done on a part-time basis. Classes start Sept.
23 and are spaces are being filled quickly.
