NewsPress Release: 2/15/02Marlboro College Technology Center Offers Introductory Level TechLab for Adults
BRATTLEBORO, VT - A series of classes developed to help adults with an introduction to the Internet and creating content for the Web will be offered at the Marlboro College Technology Center on four successive Wednesday evenings beginning February 27.
The sessions will be self-paced and will focus more on the process than the product. Participants will take away with them a better understanding of how the Internet works and an awareness of the tools needed to build a Website. No prior experience is necessary.
The instructor is John Donaldson, director of K2Kid: Hypermedia, a design group for children's Internet sites, and a recent graduate of the Internet Strategy Management program at the Persons School of Marlboro College. John has been a classroom teacher and technology consultant for many years and loves helping people of all ages express themselves digitally.
The fee for the series is $80. The classes will take place from 5:45 to 7:15 p.m. February 27 and March 6, 13, and 20.
