Violinist Katie LansdaleMARLBORO, VT - Violinist Katie Lansdale and pianist Robert Merfeld will be performing pieces by Mozart, Prokofiev, Dvorak, and Debussy at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 14, in Marlboro College's Whittemore Theater

Lansdale has been awarded prizes from both the Yellow Spring and Fischoff National Chamber Competitions, and has collaborated with musicians such as YoYo Ma, Felix Galimir, and Donald Weilerstein. She has toured the United States and Europe annually for 13 years.

Merfeld, a graduate of Oberlin College and the Julliard school, is currently on the piano and chamber music faculties of Boston University, Harvard University, and the Longy School of Music. He was a founding member of the Apple Hill Chamber Players, which toured the world for over twenty years. He has performed at numerous music festivals including the Marlboro Music Festival and the New England Bach Festival.
