SENIOR ASHLEY ASHTON’S PLAN PROJECT TO DEPICT FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS

MARLBORO, VERMONT – Marlboro College is pleased to announce a dance performance by Senior Ashley Ashton, set for Saturday, April 26 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 27, at 3 p.m. in the Whittemore Theater.

As part of her Plan, Ashton will offer a dance performance called "Girl Among Women," a personal exploration of her relationships with the women of her family. Dancers will include Ashton, Sonya German, Heather Bryce, Elizabeth Hallett, and Emma Zurer.

In conjunction with this performance, Ashton willalso offer an exhibit of multi-media art and photography in the Drury Gallery from April 25 through April 28. This exhibit, “Portrait,” will look at the history of her family as well as family experiences.

Ashton’s Plan is on the Non-traditional Contemporary Family through Dance and Literature.
