Dance Concert Features Original Work by Marlboro
College Students
Marlboro, VT-A variety of dance and choreographic styles will
be highlighted in the end of semester dance concert featuring
original work by Marlboro College students and faculty in
"Doing a Jig in the Old Digs, Digging the Rigs in the
New" on Friday, December 3, and Saturday, December 4,
at 8:00 p.m. in Whittemore Theater at Marlboro College.
Eight seniors, whose interdisciplinary studies combine dance
with physics, cultural studies, theater, religion and creative
writing, will perform original pieces which are components
of their Plans of Concentration. Underclassmen join in with
equally diverse displays of creative endeavors. On Friday
night only, senior Audrey Cortez Temple will provide a performance
art piece, and on Saturday, Professor of Computer Science
Jim Mahoney will dance the tango.
