NewsZeke Berman Photograph Exhibit in Drury Gallery
Marlboro, VT (Nov.7, 2006)--- Zeke Berman, a New York photographer will be exhibiting his photographs in the Drury Gallery of Marlboro College from Tuesday, October 31 to Tuesday, November 21.
Berman graduated from the Philadelphia College of Art in 1973, where he studied sculpture and photography. His work focuses on found objects and ordinary materials which he photographs to construct images that evoke the style of Dutch still-life paintings.
All of the photographs on display in the Drury Gallery have been loaned from the Laurence Miller Gallery in New York and Berman’s private collection. Berman’s work has been exhibited in such places as the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and the National Museum of American Art in Washington D.C.
Berman will be giving a lecture in the Drury Gallery on Tuesday, November 14 at 4 p.m.
