NewsMarlboro College Performances Raise Money for the Brattleboro Women's Shelter
Marlboro, VT (February 19, 2007) -- Marlboro College students will perform Eve Ensler’s The Vagina Monologues as part of V-Day 2007: Until the Violence Stops. All proceeds benefit the Women’s Crisis Center in Brattleboro.
The performances will be held Saturday, March 3, at 7:30 p.m. at Marlboro College’s Ragle Hall and on Thursday, March 8, at 7:30 p.m. in Brattleboro’s New England Youth Theatre.
A discussion will follow each show.
Across the nation performances of The Vagina Monologues have raised over $30 million for non-profits that oppose violence to women.
Tickets will be sold at the door for $8 at the March 3 performance. Tickets for the March 8 performance will also be sold at the door at a cost of $8 students and seniors, and $10 for adults.
