News Marlboro's Bridges Program
Archaeological dig by incoming students
The Bridges Program is the first part of the Marlboro Orientation Experience. When incoming students arrived on August 25, 2008, they dropped off their stuff and embarked on a 5 day trip designed to give all new and transfer students a common experience and allowed them to interact in small groups with returning students (who designed and led the trips) and engaged in common tasks that reflect some of what brings us together at Marlboro.
Bridges was named Program of the Year in its region by the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators.
On August 29, 2008, Brattleboro Reformer photographer/videographer Zach Stephens caught up with the group of incoming students on the Vermonster trip, including Will Jenkins '10, as they conducted an archealogical dig on college property.
