News Vermont Student Visit Day, April 1
MARLBORO, VT -- (March 15, 2011) -- Marlboro College has organized a program of activities specifically for prospective students who live in Vermont on Friday, April 1.
The Vermont Student Visit Day will run from 10:00am to 2:00pm and include a student-guided tour of the campus, a workshop on the college search process and information sessions with Marlboro's admissions and financial aid representatives.
"Marlboro College has built a reputation for academic rigor based on small class sizes and discussion-based learning versus standardized testing," says dean of admissions, Nicole Curvin. "Our rural setting, commitment to sustainable living and model of community governance has particular appeal to students who grew up in Vermont."
A schedule of activities and registration form can be found at www.marlboro.edu/vt. For more information, contact the admissions office at 800-343-0049 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

Its 330 undergraduate students enjoy an 8:1 student-faculty ratio, a voice in governing the community and individualized courses of study on a 300-acre campus in the hills of southern Vermont.
