News Renana Gutman concert rescheduled for April 3.

MARLBORO, VT - (March 21, 2011) - Marlboro College announced that the postponed March 6 concert by Renana Gutman has been rescheduled for Sunday, April 3 at 3:00pm in Ragle Hall.

Gutman is scheduled to perform French Suite in G Major by J.S. Bach, Four Impromptus by Franz Schubert, selections from Five Pieces by Paul Ben-Haim, and Carnaval by Robert Schumann.

This performance is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted to benefit the Luis Batlle Music Chair during the concert. In case of inclement weather, call the Marlboro College Events line at 802-451-7151.

Praised by the New York Sun for playing "with great vigor and aplomb" and for the "true poetry in her phrasing", Renana Gutman has performed across three continents as an orchestral soloist, recitalist and collaborative artist. In addition to spending three summers at the Marlboro Music Festival, Gutman was a top prize winner at the Los Angeles Liszt competition, the International Keyboard Festival in New York, the Tel-Hai International Mast Classes, and has performed Beethoven's piano sonatas in Carnegie Hall. Her versatile recordings have been heard and seen on British BBC, American NPR and Israeli "Voice of Music" radio stations and television.
