Offices Registrar's Office
Welcome to the Office of the Registrar at Marlboro College. It is the responsibility of this office to ensure the integrity of academic records and to implement College policies regarding the curriculum and other academic issues. This office reports to and works closely with the Dean of Faculty.
The Registrar’s Office also provides resources and services such as course registration, class schedules, grades, student status changes, diplomas, maintenance of demographic information for federal and other reporting, transfer credit evaluation, and the release of both official and unofficial academic records (transcripts).
Enrollment and Degree Verifications
Note: Marlboro College has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide degree and enrollment verification. National Student Clearinghouse may be contacted at 703/742-4200; degreeverify@studentclearinghouse.org; or by mail, National Student Clearinghouse, 13454 Sunrise Valley Drive, Suite 300, Herndon, VA 20171.
If for some reason you would like the Registrar's Office to produce an enrollment verification on letterhead, please fax or email a written request (802/257-4154, registrar@marlboro.edu) and allow two business days for processing. Your request should include the following: name of student, semester to be certified, name and address or fax number of recipient, name, phone number and email address of person making the request (in case we have questions), and any other relevant information that we should include in our letter.
Please note that only tentative enrollment verifications can be produced for any given semester until after the drop deadline.
Name changes:
Current and former Marlboro students (Marlboro campus) who wish to change their surnames should send official documentation, such as a marriage certificate or divorce decree, to the Registrar's Office.
Replacement diplomas:
The College does not retain copies of student diplomas. Diplomas are not released if the student owes a balance (contact Student Accounts at 802/258-9241 for information). To order a replacement diploma, send a request with $25.00 to the Registrar's Office; diplomas are signed by the current Chair of the Board of Trustees and the President, so the entire process could take up to six weeks.
