Job Description:
The Computer Lab Monitor is a highly independent position responsible for providing oversight and assistance to users of the main public computer lab on campus. Typical tasks involve assisting users in the use of: -Word processing applications -Web browsing -Marlboro web mail -Accessing and utilizing network file space such as student's home directories on Akbar -Printing to lab printer -Scanning images -CD Burning Lab Monitors are also responsible for keeping the labs tidy and the printers stocked with paper and toner.
Skills Required:
The position requires a high level of comfort with both PCs and Macs, experience with the major software applications used in the lab, as well as a general technical knowledge of windows XP and Mac OS X operating systems.
