Job Description: Various outing program duties. Including maintenance and upkeep of the trail system. This includes but is not limited to pruning, cutting, bridge construction, drainage, sign and marker placement. Snow grooming of the trail system in the winter is required. And regular equipment maintenance. In addition to these duties the supervision of other work study and volunteer helpers in the performance of these tasks.
Skills Required: Self motivated worker. Substantial mechanical knowledge especially of two cycle engines. Appreciation of cross country skiing. And finely groomed ski trails. A developed sense of safety and potential hazards. A working knowledge of basic forestry principles.
