DreamWeaver is a tool for creating web pages. It is available for Mac OS and Windows. While it has many advanced features, it can be nearly as easy to use as a word processor.
Marlboro has a limited number of licenses of DreamWeaver. Please contact IT Tech Support for more information.
DreamWeaver Windows
DreamWeaver has several windows which are used to add objects, change object properties, and to see what the web page will look like in a web browser. To start out, you really only need to pay attention to three windows.
Objects Panel
Dreamweaver's top toolbar, called the "objects panel", is used to insert objects (tables, images, etc.) into your web page.

Document Window
This is the DreamWeaver document window. This window displays what your web page actually looks like. You can enter text, images, etc. into the Document window.

Property Inspector
The bottom toolbar, called the "Property Inspector", you can change the properties of items (text, tables, images, etc.) in your web page.

Getting Started
This section will describe how to make a basic web page that contains text, images, and links. The page is designed to be easy to read, and look consistent in all web browsers.
Open DreamWeaver
Create a new document by going to: File > New...
If asked, select "Basic Page" and "HTML" as a web page type.
A new Document Window will appear.
