Marlboro students write prodigiously over the course of their time on campus. From the demands of the Clear Writing Requirement to the the final weeks of writing a Plan of Concentration, Marlboro’s focus on writing speaks to the college’s underlying focus on clear thinking. But you are not in this alone, and there are a wealth of resources there to support your articulate command of the written word. One of these is the Writer’s Block, a student-staffed writing center where students can receive individualized peer tutoring for their written work.
The Writer’s Block is located in the Rice-Aron Library, and students who want help with writing are encouraged to make an appointment there for writing help, or just drop by. Writing Block tutors are students just like you, but are trained to provide support at all stages of the writing process, from brainstorming to final revisions.
