Typical Schedule

Wondering what your schedule would look like if you were to become a World Studies student at Marlboro?

Typical timeline for a 4-Year WSP Student.

First Year

  • World Studies Colloquium
  • Origins of the Contemporary World
  • Language classes (begin taking a second language to gain proficiency)
  • Submit application to be a World Studies Student

Second Year

  • Finding an Internship
  • Research Methods
  • Language classes
  • Finish Internship proposal and meet with Advisors regarding Internship plan

Third Year

  • Complete 6-8 month internship (either beginning in Summer through Fall semester or beginning in Spring semester through the summer)
  • Schedule and complete ACTFL language proficiency testing**

Fourth Year

  • Senior Seminar
  • SIT course

**Language testing must be completed at least 3 months before graduation
