GPS 20th Anniversary

Marlboro College Graduate and Professional Studies is celebrating its 20th anniversary! Please join us at our beautiful Marlboro campus to mark this special occasion on the weekend of November 17. We have a wonderful weekend planned for you, filled with activities, workshops, and a festive dinner on Saturday the 17th. Please see below for the full schedule, and RSVP, specifying each part of the event you plan to attend. RSVPs are required for the Saturday night dinner.

Friday, November 16

Saturday, November 17

  • 10:30 - 11:30: Campus Tour (meet at the admissions building)

  • 11:30 - 12:30: Lunch (Campus Center)

  • 12:30 - 01:30: Community Circle (Library Reading Room)

  • 02:00 - 03:15: Activity Group 1: Choose Hike or Pivot Workshop (Hike meet in the Library Reading Room) (Pivot workshop in Library Reading Room)

  • 03:45 - 5:00: Activity Group 2: Choose Block Printing Workshop or Baskets as Narrations of the Wabanaki Workshop (Block printing workshop in Snyder Art Critique Room) (Basket workshop in Snyder Magnet Classroom)

  • 05:15 - 06:15: Storytelling Hour: Share your stories and update old friends (Campus Center)

Pivot Workshop

Join MBA/MSM co-chair Travis Hellstrom for this workshop that will help you pivot toward the leader you want to be.

Block Printing Workshop

Join artist and founder of Free Columbia Laura Summer for a workshop on block printing. Participants will create their own unique set of greeting cards.

Baskets: Narrations of the Wabanaki Workshop

Talk and experiential workshop on basket making and the social, political, and economic changes the Wabanaki people have endured since settlers arrived in N'dakinna (our land).
