Health & Wellness
Whether you are feeling a little homesick, have a cough, or need immunizations for your research trip to Senegal, the Total Health Center is the place to start.
Conveniently located right in the middle of campus, adjoining the campus center, the total health center is your one-stop shop for all things healthy. The facility includes a fitness center, health clinic, counseling facilities, sunny meeting room, and a staff of friendly and helpful health care providers. These same staff are actively involved in health education, health related events on campus, and the Health and Wellness Committee.
The philosophy of the Total Health Center is to help students maintain optimal physical and mental health, allowing them to be the best students and people they can be. In addition to providing preventative care and health education, the staff advocate for healthy habits and recreational activities in the interest of helping our community manage stress and promoting healthy habits.
We encourage the intellectual, emotional, and social development of students by providing comprehensive mental health services focused on personal growth and decision making, promoting healthy lifestyle choices, relationship-building, and problem solving. We are committed to supporting equity, social justice, and treating all members of the Marlboro community with respect, with special consideration to those of underrepresented and historically marginalized groups. Students are encouraged to visit counselors on staff at the first hint of any problem, not wait until it is a full-blown crisis. In all cases, the confidentiality of services to students is a top priority.
