Button and Link Styles

There are a few built-in options for creating buttons.

(Unsure if the Text Styling page is where this content should live, or if it merits its own page. Trying to practice what we preach here.)

How to create buttons

To create a button, first select some text and click the link button in the page editing toolbar.

Choose your link destination and then select your desired link style from the dropdown (see below). Normal links will default to the “normal” link style followed by the various button styles.

LiveWhale add link modal.

Turning a link into a button

If you have an existing link that you want to make into a button, just put your cursor in the link and click the “Formats” menu; you’ll see the same set of options there. (The options only appear when your cursor’s in an existing link.)
