Inspiring Courses I've Taken
Ritual Studies with Professor of Religion Amer Latif. Every student participated and enjoyed meeting for this class. We read our essays aloud to each other and discussed the readings through our own writing. We bonded through a shared sense of vulnerability and accomplishment and the class become a wonderful collaborative experience between the teacher and students.
Thoughts on Marlboro
What drew me to Marlboro was how much control I have over my own education. I can go at my own pace and study what interests me. I loved how small and rural Marlboro is and knew that this is a school where I would be seen and heard because it is such a tight knit community up on the hill, everyone plays a part in the community.
Favorite Places on Campus
There are so many special places in the woods, I encourage you to explore and find your own quiet place, there are brooks and streams and clearing and even trees that are great places to be alone in nature. The steps in front of the admissions building is a great spot to eat a snack or watch the sunset. There are private little nooks in the library that are a lot of fun to do homework or hang out in.
Goals Before Graduating
Maintain a healthy mental attitude, utilize the gym and call my mum once a week.
Advice for New Students
