Academic Year

Sophomore 1

Academic Interests

Academically I am interested in film and environmental science. I want to study about livestock and farm management. I am really interested in food and sustainable farming. My non-academic interests include cooking and eating food too. I also love reading, dancing, gardening, drawing, playing the piano, volunteering, watching movies, and doing yoga.

Inspiring Courses I've Taken

Rice, Ritual, and Revolution: A History of Southeast Asia. This course is very much outside of what I am studying for my Plan, and it was very inspiring to open up my perspective with a history I have never learned about before.

Thoughts on Marlboro

I really LOVE Marlboro. The small size classes and community was just what I was looking for. I really appreciate that I can go to anyone and ask for help as well as know, if not all, then most of the students.

Favorite Places on Campus

Poet’s garden and secret books in the library.

Goals Before Graduating

My non-academic goal is to go skydiving.

Advice for New Students

Don’t be afraid to ask for help from anyone for anything. People at Marlboro are really friendly and would love to help you out.
