MAY 14, 2017

All are welcome to Marlboro's 2017 Commencement, celebrating both undergraduate and graduate students and their intellectual journeys at Marlboro. The ceremony will include a commencement address by Vermont Congressman Peter Welch, an outspoken advocate of affordable higher education and champion of working Vermonters throughout much of his career.

“A college education has always been the gateway to engaged citizenship, and Marlboro College is an outstanding example of an academic community where students are full participants,” said Welch. “With your shared governance structure, Town Meetings, committee involvement, and self-directed course of study, Marlboro students are ideally equipped to grapple with the most pressing issues confronting our nation.”

Commencement will also include comments from student speakers and President Kevin Quigley, as well as an acknowledgment of the original work of each individual in the class of 2017. Please join us.
