MARLBORO, VT – Marlboro College is pleased to announce a concert slated for Sunday, April 6 at 3 p.m. in the Whittemore Theater.

The Program includes a Vermont premiere of a string quartet ""October Musings " by Marlboro Professor of Music Stanley Charkey as well as a string quartet by Joseph Haydn and the beloved Piano Quartet by Robert Schumann. The string players are all well known area performers such as Peggy Spencer and Michelle Liechti - Violins, Kathy Andrew-viola and Judith Serkin -Cello.

Marlboro Professor of Music and pianist,Luis Batlle will join the ensemble for the work by Schumann. This is an opportunity to hear both new music as well as works by great masters of the past. This concert is free and open to the public.
