News Marlboro College Hosts Gutworks Theater Company’s, “This is the Place of Parting,” September 6

MARLBORO, VT— (August 28, 2008) — Marlboro College will host a free, public production of This is the Place of Parting, a new play by the Gutworks Theater Company, in the Whittemore Theater at 7:00 pm on Saturday, September 6.

The Vermont-based Gutworks Theater and Multimedia Company is dedicated to telling visceral stories from a multi-faceted approach. Written by Neil Knox and directed by Daniel Burmeister, This is the Place of Parting is billed as “a play where lions, sermons, physics, puppets and film add up to one mind-blowing adventure.” The instrumental rock trio, Amargosa, will perform a live soundtrack for the production.
