Money Moves: A Justice Fundraiser
Friday, April 14, 2017 - 7:00pm • Serkin Center for the Performing Arts
Marlboro students, concerned about the direction national political rhetoric and policies are taking, are stepping up to the challenge to support two local non-profit organizations, Migrant Justice and Planned Parenthood (Brattleboro branch), and community members wanting to take action are urged to join them. The event will include an art raffle, dance and music performances, and short presentations by Marlboro students and faculty, as well as speakers from both organizations. Migrant Justice is a Burlington-based organization building the voice, capacity, and power of the migrant farmworker community in Vermont and organizing for economic justice and human rights. Planned Parenthood is America's most trusted provider of reproductive health care, empowering all people to make informed choices and lead healthy lives for the past century. Come learn more and support these very important organizations and the populations they serve.
