Talk by Lloyd Dakin
The final in the speaker series Refugees in the USA Today, retired senior UN High Commissioner for Refugees officer Lloyd Dakin will discuss the seemingly endless saga of refugees around the world. Lloyd has held several positions in the UNHCR, part of an international career stretching four decades. These included program officer in Thailand, deputy representative in Tanzania, desk officer for Central Asia, representative in Armenia and Hungary, regional representative for Central Europe, and interim director of the Division of External Relations. He holds a Masters in International Administration from the School for International Training. This event is free and open to the public, but please register online if you plan to attend. Suggested donation of $15, or $50 for the whole series of five speakers.
