The acclaimed author of Columbine, Dave Cullen, will do a reading at Brooks Memorial Library. A New York Times bestseller, Columbine is a haunting portrait of two killers and the survivors. It made two dozen "Best of 2009" lists and won several awards, including the Edgar and Goodreads Choice Award. Dave has written for New York Times, Vanity Fair, Buzzfeed, New Republic, Guardian, Times of London, Newsweek, and several other periodicals, and has appeared on Today, PBS Newshour, Nightline, Morning Edition, AC360, Rachel Maddow, and other news media. He was an infantry grunt way back, and he is writing a new book about gay soldiers through the eyes of two army buddies he has been following for 17 years. He lives in Hell's Kitchen and is uncle to several cool humans and one adorable corgi, Bobby Sneakers.
