Paintings by Ryan Kish '07

Tuesday, October 31, 2017 - 4:00pmAppletree

Alumnus Ryan Kish '07 has exhibited his work internationally and in the northeast United States. He received an M.F.A from Tufts University/School of the Museum of Fine Arts in 2013, and currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. Artist Owen Westberg has said of his work, "As a glass of water in different seasons, Kish’s paintings are vessels for perception. Forest-green raindrops, phosphorescent refractions, the mellow glow of sunlight through curtains—these mutable phenomena are suspended as testimonials to the passage of time." His work will be up in Drury Gallery from October 1 to 31, with a reception on October 7 from 5 to 7pm. He will give a visiting artist talk in Appletree on Tuesday, October 3, at 4pm.
