Join us for a reading from Nothing Happened, the new work by Marlboro College alumna and pioneer in young adult queer fiction, Molly Booth '14. Molly's Plan project, the young adult novel Saving Hamlet, was published by Disney Hyperion in 2016. Her second book from which she will be reading, Nothing Happened, was published in 2018, and is featured on the American Library Association's 2019 Rainbow List. When not writing, Molly teaches college English, runs a nonprofit Shakespeare theater program, and attends to her loaf-of-bread-shaped dog and queenly cat. In May 2019, she'll be graduating from UMass Boston with her English MA. Molly will be joined by two Marlboro College seniors students, Daniel Medeiros ’19 and Kristen Thompson ’19, who will also be doing readings from their Plan of Concentration work. Although both Daniel and Kristen are concentrating in environmental studies, they have devoted a significant portion of their Plan to original fiction.
