Campus Prevention, Intervention, and Advocacy

Creating a campus community rooted in consent, respect, and positive sexuality where all of us can be healthy and thrive.

The office of Campus Prevention, Intervention, and Advocacy:

  • Implements wellness programming at Marlboro College, including consent and sexual respect and alcohol and other drugs;
  • Coordinates the Consent Cavalry, a peer education and leadership program that empowers students and promotes conversation around positive sexuality on Marlboro College’s campus;
  • Leads trainings on consent and sexual respect, bystander intervention, Marlboro’s Title IX policies and procedures, and Being a Responsible Employee;
  • Serves as the Survivor Advocate, providing support, advocacy, and crisis response for Marlboro College community members who experience sexual harm on campus, including:
    • First responder support;
    • Victim/survivor advocacy;
    • Assistance navigating Title IX processes;
    • On and off campus resource connection;
    • Assistance with transportation, housing, and/or academic accommodations;
    • Safety planning
